Bio – Mikkel Inumineq

Mikkel Inumineq

I'm a multidisciplinary creative director and brand advisor involved in visual arts, moving image, digital media and strategic communications. My experience spans 12+ years working within ad agencies, public organisations, production companies and consultancies.

This experience from a wide variety of disciplines informs my work as a hybrid, contributing significantly to my insight into the needs and goals of clients and collaborators as a whole. My approach has always been to learn and involve myself into my different skillsets in order to be able to have as wide and free a toolbox to execute my vision. This approach has put me in the positions of being a designer, copywriter, communications strategist as well as acting the director of photography on ads and documentaries.

Since 2007, I have been working within the mixed field of visual communication, both hands-on and within strategy. Often than not, I happen to work with opinions, social change, and political causes. To me, design and communication are cornerstones of these changes – and unfortunately often neglected and realized too late.

As a tradesman graduate in graphic design and a BA in Visual Communication with a political and civil society background, I thrive in the twilight of being a consultant, strategist and craftsman.

Im currently working out of Copenhagen, Denmark — designing and producing content and strategy for brands, organizations, and individuals with opinions, visions and courage.
